(to much to get them fixed) However, I had a ray of hope when I got my latest Sun Data catalog. Sun is offering to do a profile factory format to solve about 90% of the profile problems. Of couse the bad part is that they want $70 plus shipping to do this. And they won't gaurentte that it will won't and if it doesn't you don't get your $70 back. My question is does anyone know how the factory format is done? I would like to know if it is hardware/software or just software that can be used with the dead media to fix it. With the relative cheap price of Segate 5-meg media I could get 2 drives and save myself almost $400 off the price of repairing them. -------
