Am I mistaken or is it common belief that the GS Toolbox Reference manuals
aren't out yet?

If so, wrong.  I just got a copy of Volume II today.  It was there, in final
form, just sitting in the campus bookstore.   And boy is it huge.

Now, I don't know about you, but I was led to believe that these works of
literature (for such this must be, with that size) were not yet available.

Rejoice!  This means a book which explains the tool set in it's entirety
(and then some)
