BDS wants to know what good releasing the RTX would do for them.

I say no good.  I would love to have the product free.  
However, if there is no fee then there is no profit.

Releasing a product which a comany cannot stand behind (because its free)
will only harm their reputation so there is no good will. 

I suggest that they sell the product and stand behind it or license
it to someone else or remove their name from it and release it PD.
