I agree with you and I think that there should be discussions regarding pros and
cons of different PC hardware and OS -- Amiga, Atari ST, PC/AT/386, PS/2, MAC
II, etc.

However, this type of discussions should not be limited to dl's devoted to one
brand of PC's, whether it's Amiga or Atari (or IBMPC, or Mac, ...).  There
should be a separate list for this purpose.  Perhaps something like
"PCComparison" will be an appropriate name for it.
