I have no problems with running UniTerm under MT C-shell (it does halt other running progs), MicroEmacs will allow other programs to continue running in the background unless what you're editing is really big. Gulam works as a shell under micro-rtx in place of csh (so does msh), and I run compilations using MWC in the background all the time. Tell me, please: Where does your info come from? I have had no problem running MWC, I'd finally throw this machine away if I had. I haven't had to recompile ANY of the MWC utils to get them to run, either! One thing that doesn't seem to work: UniTerm can't open files when using Kermit for file transfers under MT C-shell. Works okay for xmodem or ymodem or ascii, but it doesn't like something that kermit is doing. Protections, maybe? Leo E.
