I think I could find something to beat $4 US. Last I looked, I (Logicraft) could sell 256K 150 ns DRAMS for $4.50 CDN or so, that is, at the time about $3.30 US. Of course, the US dollar has dropped a little since then, and I think chip prices moved up slightly, but I still think I could sell 256K 150ns for less than $3.50 US, or about $4.25 CDN. 120ns chips were a little more expensive, $5 CDN and 100ns were much worse, about $10 CDN. Of course, these are all still Japanese chips, but I don't know how much US Customs cares about high-tech pass-throughs. Just give me the price to beat, and I'll see what I can do.
