Well, I called MWC today (February 9), and was told

  1) The next release would be 3.0
  2) It is due out in 6-8 weeks
  3) The C source level debugger will be available at that time
  4) All registered owners will be notified in about 4 weeks

I spoke to Judy Petty, who is the official contact at MWC for the ST
compiler and support products.
