Keywords: keyboard mapping unix-pc att 3b1 capscntrl Message-ID: <1312@gumby.cs.wisc.edu> Date: 2 Feb 88 01:55:31 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: U of Wisconsin CS Dept Lines: 16 Hi. An AT&T Unix PC (3B1) recently appeared on my desk. I've discovered that the keyboard layout is not particularly suitable for running EMACS or similar editors. In particular, the placement of the Ctrl and Del keys is rather unwieldly. I understand that about 2 months ago, there was a posting of the source for a program called "capscntrl" (or something similar) which allows fairly arbitrarily remapping of keys on the 3B1 keyboard. Could someone out there either send me the source for "capscntrl", or point me to a place (accessible via anonymous FTP) where it is archived? Thanks much. Mitchell Tasman g-tasman@gumby.cs.wisc.edu
