It's statistics are: Serial number XJ1079351 Manufactured March, 1985 Made by Gold Star. Chassis # CC-2 From the symptoms, I believe the high voltage regulator is gone (screen went real bright and out of focus suddenly) This is the monitor that was styled to go with the Plus Four, it has two large knobs on the lower right front and the on/off is a large button on the left side. I have heard from people that service CBM equipment that Commodore disowns this monitor and that Goldstar won't admit to having manufactured it either. The local Commodore shop (Microworld in Livonia) has no information. Could someone on the net or at Commodore direct me to some info and a schematic of this unit? I know of two other owners in the same fix as I. Thanks in advance... -- Jim Harvey | "Ask not for whom the bell Michigan Bell Telephone | tolls and you will only pay 29777 Telegraph | Station-to-Station rates."
