To use it, you simply compile it and link it with your program; your program does NOT have to be modified. There is one possible problem with it (depending on your application): it's copyrighted (I didn't write it -- I downloaded it from Borland's SIG on Compuserve) and can be freely distributed as long as no fee is charged.
