The sympton is that when ANET3 is running, even if not logged in to the network MAKE will attemp to execute the first line (usually a compile) and then just freeze after it finishes. Fortunately it doesn't have to be cold-booted, a warm-boot will do. Then when you re-invoke MAKE, it will attempt to execute the next line (usually a link) and will give a STACK overflow error. Everything is fine without ANET3 running. Novell NetWare 286 v2.0a is the one involved. Any hints/suggestions will be appreciated.
