It has been my observation that most people, when given the choice
between FC and COMP, use FC. I think it is, like you said, the speed
and flexibility. The people who use COMP are the people that want to
use wildcards and compare sets of files for differences, like people
that use it to verify that COPY correctly copied files onto a diskette
using the set "c:\docs\*.txt a:\*.txt".
