EE Dept. Lines: 27 Keywords: IBM PC-I, ERROR 108 Howdy. I returned home on Thursday night, ready to log on and read the news. Only, my machine greeted me with one long beep, then one short beep. I was able to boot Diagnostics (v1.0), and the test said "SYSTEM 108 - ERROR" (or something to that effect). Any clues? I just need a real short description (if possible) of what to look for. I've got a chip tester available and would like to know where to start looking. If you could send E-mail it would be much appreciated, since my access to the News is rather sporadic for the time being. Thanks much. ..lar ----- Larry Esmonde, Director of SWORD (Students Working On R & D) Computer Science Dept.
