Lines: 18 Keywords: EaZy-PC Zenith ProComm MS-Kermit Serial Port Mouse Summary: ProComm runs on the serial (mouse) port but MS-Kermit won't On a Zenith EaZy-PC, there is a built-in serial mouse port. Experiments had shown that ProComm can use it as a communications port at speed up to 19,200 baud without problem, but MS-Kermit will hang the machine at the first character. Does anyone know why? (To rephrase the question, if a serial port works for a serial mouse *and* ProComm (at high baud rate), why wouldn't it work with MS-Kermit 2.30?) BTW, the port address of this only serial port is 0x2f8, if that matters. Any pointers would be appreciated, thank you very much in advance.
