Summary: Does LQ500 have IBM box drawing characters?

Does the Epson LQ500 have IBM box  and line drawing characters in the
Epson mode (past Epsons have had italics in the Epson mode, and box
drawing characters only in the IBM graphics printer, i.e. no 12 pitch,
mode, as I understand it)?  Is the Epson LQ500 lq font as nice as on
the other LQ series (800, 1500, etc.)?
