I take my Zenith everywhere and fly frequently, and several times I've been on flights where the flight attendant or captain specifically said not to use laptop computers during the flight. This only happends on small, 20 to 30 seat airplanes. By the way, I think the practice of having people turn on their computer if they don't want it X-rayed is a universal guideline - I've had it done all over the country and in Europe.
