PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.  The use of undocumented low memory globals (or 
for that matter anything not documented) is NOT guaranteed to be
compatible with future machines/architectures/system releases.  Using
undocumented low memory globals is like playing russian roulette with
a fully loaded Uzi.  You may get away with it at this moment, but you
are almost guaranteed to be blown away sooned or later.

Just say no - to undocumented low memory globals!
