Hello,
  After posting my 'mini-tutorial' on how to use CheapBeep, I got several
mail messages telling me that the icon never shows up in the Control Panel.
I don't know what's going on, but I do know that I have a version of 
CheapBeep that does work, and I have it in a StuffIt archive along with the
documentation. I thought I submitted it to comp.binaries.mac some time ago,
but I will make sure that it gets there.
