I know that just adding the SIMM's might not work for some upgrades. I heard that some resistor has to be removed. My questions are: 1: which resistor should be removed for a 128->512, which one for a 512-> Plus, and which one for PLus->2Meg. 2: what would be the cheapest way to get the SIMM's. Mailorder? 3: I can get some of the old Mac128 Chips. Can I upgrade my Plus with these? And how about a friends 512KE. Please reply as thoroughly as possible , so that I won't blow up my Mac. I can handle the soldering and the resistor part. I just don't have the right knowledge. -- *This was the work of an Artificial Intelligence program written by the great Michael L.Reerink.
