Message-ID: <435@dukempd.UUCP> Date: 1 Feb 88 03:49:02 GMT Organization: Duke University Physics Dept.; Durham, N.C. Lines: 14 I would like to know what is the best method for recovering files where due to a system error some text file has "garbage" characters mixed in such that the text file can no longer be opened with, say, MacWrite. If I try to read such a file I can find chunks of the original file intermingled with characters which when read crash the operating system. Please e-mail any answers directly to me; thank you. -- Fang Zhong 1-919-684-8247 Duke University Dept. of Physics fang@dukempd.uucp Durham, N.C. 27706 mcnc!duke!dukempd!fang
