I too recently acquired a Mac II to join my Plus at home.  :-)
The fan is a bit noisy and it seems to me that someone posted
several months ago a workaround of relocating the video board in a different
location.  That is supposed to reduce the noise somewhat.
Does anyone out there in net-land remember which slot should
be used for minimum fan noise?  I'm sure there are others
who would like to know...
