However, the tour runs just fine when I copy it to a hard disk and do not use the system/finder on the tour disk. Ed's comment appears not to be the reason that the tour fails when run from a MacJANET network volume, which is the only place it seems to fail. I have contacted the developers of MacJANET but have not heard back yet. Paul H.
