I noticed that the spelling checker doesn't properly recognize
words that are separated by a double hyphen, in effect treating
both words and the double hyphen as one.  The Microsoft Word
spelling checker works properly.  Also, if you specify that a
word like "Vax" is ok in the document it will not then accept
"Vax's"--surely a trivial special case that could be checked.
