For example, I've taken to keeping Alarm Clock running in the upper >right hand corner of the screen. Booted up Mac SE/20 with MultiFinder, put cursor to top-right of screen to get Moire going. It's animation was jumpy. So, I called up the Calculator DA, DA Handler loaded into it's own layer. Tried Moire again, and the animation was back to it's normal swiftness. I thought it might have something to do with the Finder layer, so I switched under MultiFinder back to the Finder layer (by clicking on the icon at the right end of the menu bar). Called up Moire, and the animation was swift! So! It seems Finder 6.0 is the culprit! I closed the Calculator DA, closing the DA Handler layer. Called Moire. The animation of Moire was jerky again!!! What is Finder 6.0 doing? It looks like Finder 6.0 is hoarding the CPU.
