I recently bought the unreleased xerox product - the 1815 laptop keyboard computer from California Digital for $189. It has BASIC in rom and calendar, calc, and notepad, tty capability, 300/1200 internal modem, RF and monitor connectors for 40*25 color, 80*3 LCD display, RS232 and Centronics ports, also a 512k micro cassette which can be used as a voice answering machine as well. I figured for the price it's a good little portible terminal (mostly what I wanted it for). CD, however, doesn't have a stitch of documentation for it since Xerox never released it. Sunrise Systems of Carollton, TX made it for them. Originally it was going to be released for $2900. It has 10K CMOS ram built in for battery use, expandable for 64K. Did anyone else buy one or know where I could get more information on the internals of it. It is based on a NSC800 chip. Any info appreciated. Tim Erdies 201-263-1500 (Convergent Technologies)
