One nice feature is the composite video and audio inputs. When my TV had to go in the shop I was able to use my VCR tuner and monitor to take it's place. If you are planning on using the PROSCAN upgrade you will need a multi-sync monitor. PROSCAN is a $65 modification that will allow the Z-100 to display 640x480 video without using interlace mode (no flicker at this higher resolution.) Zenith is still selling the ZVM-135, but I don't remember the price. Marc Frederick
