Message-ID: <2947@cup.portal.com> Date: 4 Feb 88 09:30:46 GMT References: <6649@oberon.USC.EDU> Organization: The Portal System (TM) Lines: 17 XPortal-User-Id: 1.1001.2190 I need to know if any of you fine folk have seen the following critter in the underbrush and could point him/her/it out to me. I need to find a software driver that will allow the control of a WORM optical disk via a SCSI host adapter which runs under Xenix. The kind{ people at SCO tell me that they get an average of a call a day asking about this but they do not know of one that is available. BTW, it should run under Xenic/386 if at all possible. I know about a number of companies that have such software running on Suns or Apollosq. I can even get a SCSI WORM driver for a VAX under either VM/CMS or UNIX (not sure what flavor). Please send me mail if you have info, I'll post any good stuff. Truett Lee Smith, Sunnyvale, CA UUCP: truett@cup.portal.com
