comp.dcom.telecom has not gone away, and it is still being carried by
the backbone (and other sites).  However, recent mail to JSol, the
former moderator, has indicated that the new moderator, Jim Dixon is
currently involved in something that may limit the time he will have
available to the Telecom list, thus having an impact on its regularity
and volume.
