Well the long awaited UNIX3.51a kernel has finally arrived. It has been
running for 5 days so far with only 1 crash. That crash occurred on the
second day of operation during what appears to be a uucp transfer from
another site.

The mouse/keyboard ceased operation and the screen dimming function would
not bring the display back into operation. After quite a while messing
with it, the only way was to reach for the "black button". Since then, 
the problem has not reoccurred.
