I had only to compile it in and enable the appropriate hacks. Here's another Emacs bug that's been bothering me for some time, and this one I'm pretty sure doesn't have a fix lying six inches in front of my nose. When I do a "make" (using M-x compile) everything works fine if there are no compile or link errors. However, when there are errors the compilation process never terminates -- it hangs, with the buffer mode line still saying "run". If I do another M-x compile it asks me if I want to kill the current compilation, I say yes, and then the original make seems to finish up -- error messages that weren't displayed originally appear in the *compilation* buffer and then the make terminates (the mode line says "exit"). Doing M-x compile for the third time starts a second make, which again hangs in the middle. I am using the PD pty drivers for the 3b1. (HAVE_PTYS is defined.) If anybody has a fix for this I'd like to hear about it.
