Is this local to this region (Milwaukee Wis) or more widespread? > I've read a couple of articles about this freshwater and marine aquarium(FAMA) magazine. According to the articles I read the problem is affecting the whole country and seems to come from any fish imported from the far east. The disease spreads like wildfire and kills all angelfish. It also can affect discus but to a lesser degree. I would be very careful about buying any angelfish from anybody without some pretty stong guarentees about where the fish came from and how long the fish has been kept alive by the owner (the disease only takes a few days to infect and kill). I did see some angelfish at a store here in the chicagoland area a couple of days ago. The owner said they were locally breed and raised. -- Ken Dalka (Bell Labs) ihnp4!ihlpg!dalka IE 2F-518 (312) 416-7437
