I own a Practical Peripherals 1200 baud modem (Model name is Practical Modem
1200). I have had a lot of problems connecting with other boards around my
area. The problem is (on 2 boards), I can only connect at 300 baud. At 1200
I get:
CONNECT 1200
(Wait about 1/2 second)
NO CARRIER

My modem is dropping the carrier, not the other side. I know one of the other
modems is a Leading Edge 2400 baud modem. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Registers S9-S11 aren't allowed to be changed.
How good are these people on warrenty service?
Does anybody know how good 2400 baud modems like the one by Prometheus ($120)
are?
