As a side-comment, I'd like to invite anyone who has the inkling for it to
pick up TeXsun, which is more or less a replacement for 'dvitool' (although,
based on the dvitool interface I've seen, I like TeXsun more). The same
package also has 'TeXx', a version for X-11 (tested on Sun & PC/RT).

Both are free.

	TeXx is supposed to come with X.11R2, and both can be picked up via
anonymous FTP to a.cs.uiuc.edu, in pub/TeX/iptex.tar.Z (which also has Chris
Toreks imagen driver). (sorry, I don't have the facilities to distribute this
via tape)

	If someone integrates texsun (or texx) into a VORTEX-like package,
please let me know, I'd like to use it.
