we came across another problem using rnews in gnu 18.50.
when you say next at the end of a newgroup, emacs
responds with symbol cdadr is nil or something like that.

we fixed the bug by changing cdadr to news-cdadr in lisp/rnews.el
and byte-compiling-file. here's the diff file
