This raises two thoughts: Are we ready for a computational geometry new group ? (Please, no flames!!) Since a computational geometry course was mentioned in a recent note, Washington University CS teaches CS506-Computational Geometry and Geometric Modeling (every other year). I would be interested in any comments or discussion on such courses. (As a side note, geomtric algorithms are sneaking into some of our intro courses and have proved of more interest and motivation to students than some of the more traditional problems.)
