Try doing a LARGE software prototype of your product in each langauge. Then see which works out best in YOUR type of application. My claim would be that IF you DO this serious evaluation, THEN your answer will be made clear to you. [Alternately, you can always learn the hard way :-] Additionally, such an exercise will probably clarify for you WHAT "object-oriented" really means, and what it will [and won't] buy you.
