	I recommend you get it in the mail - the deadline for formal
comments is that they be postmarked no later than Feb. 23rd.  There is
supposedly what used to be called a "gentleman's agreement" that X3J3
will also receive and answer those letters sent close enough to reasonably
be considered a part of the public review, but you should be aware that
ANSI does not require any such consideration - the prudent seaman would
get his letter in on time.
