Our situation is a VAX 11/750 with a mix of faculty, staff and students all using Email. There has been concern that students might get access to sensitive messages or that a faculty member might see what a student really thinks of her/him. We take all the normal precautions... file protection, ACLs, ect. ... but were wondering if the ENCRYPTION product might afford us more security. Or give us more headaches concerning system performance and users forgetting the keys to their encrypted files.
