Anybody out there know how to obtain the idle time of the terminal
associated with a process (i.e. the time a read has been outstanding
with no input)?  I can't find anything in the manuals under $GETJPI or
$GETDVI, nor in the Terminal Driver section of the I/O manual.  I'm
trying to write a program which will tell me (among other things) how
long it's been since an interactive user typed anything.  In order to
avoid giga-answers (as seems to be the habit lately), you can mail
