I am often called reactionary but also naive, but here goes:

If Chaos Computer Club continue with their inane stupidity and illegal
doings, why don't the powers that be simply take a large axe and
isolate West Berlin from every international network in existence. I would
suggest that the resulting inconvenience experienced by legitimate users
of such networks would attend to the demise of the CCC.

Aren't simple answers wonderful?
