We have an old, mechanically dying Versatec 1200A electrostatic printer
/plotter here.  Since my colleagues have switched to laser printers for
just about everything, but I still have programs that produce long
raster files for direct output to versatecs, I am reduced to begging for
spare parts or unwanted machines to cannibalise.  If you have an unwanted
versatec gathering dust behind the laser printers, please write to me

I use the versatec for greyscale image generation. I'd be interested in 
talking to anyone else who is into that kind of thing.  It really annoys me
that I have to wait 10 mins a page to download the raster to a laser printer
when I could see it in 30 seconds if the versatec was working!
