Sorry, but I do not know how to post without replying. My question: Here at UCI, the med center is looking into buying a network that will allow Macs to talk to IBMs. It is important for us to be able to transfer data from MACs to IBMs in such a way that the IBMs can use the data as easily as the MACs (this also goes for IBM to MAC transfers). For example, if a graduate student (who invariably use MACs) writes an article that he wants a secretary (who invariably use IBMs) to edit using WORDPERFECT (the student used WORD 4.0) he should be able to make the transfer easily and painlessly. If anyone has doe this type of transfer please leave me mail.
