If this helps, when my local host ran ULTRIX 1.2 (based upon 4.2 BSD), and its PSN was down following a power failure, it would also type out the "No buffer space available" message. When the PSN came back up, the messages went away. So this may just be the same problem - when you are receiving these messages, your host's PSN is probably down. You should check this with the Milnet MC at (202) 692-5726. Andy
