CBM!! Message-ID: <2578@crash.cts.com> Date: 23 Feb 88 06:57:32 GMT Sender: news@crash.cts.com Lines: 22 I just had my motherboard on my 1000 replaced because of a major failure. Now with the new motherboard and kickstart tower installed everything works fine UNLESS I plug in my 2Meg StarboardII. I know the starboard is ok! I have checked it out on 2 other machines with full ram tests and all is OK. Here is what happens when I have the New motherboard and StarboardII installed. I get many chip memory errors and each time they are at a different location in memory. I get a GURU 30068014 on bootup (sometimes) which is a bootstrap error, and when I run a program that requires alot of chip memory another GURU visits. If I power down and remove the SBII everything is OK. The kickstart tower has been replaced again along with the custom chips. SAME PROBLEM! Help CBM. I am waiting for the service center to make up their minds as to WHATS GOING WRONG! Can anyone give some help here. 512K and stranded!!
