Lines: 8 I've heard that there is a byte-order problem with BSD4.2's talk, but I haven't examined the code to find this. The 4.2 talk used a machine dependent protocol, and in general you can't make it interoperate between different flavors of unix on different machines. I think this is fixed in bsd4.3 but haven't actually tried it.
