The transfer is into Appleworks format. I then read this Appleworks file into VIP Professional (a Lotus clone that runs on IIe/GS machines). That process converted Appleworks into Lotus 1.0 format. Then I fired up the PC Transporter and transferred the Lotus formatted data out of VIP (ProDOS based) into MS-DOS. Then I loaded Quattro (Borland's Lotus clone) and joila! There was my accounting data. All formulas translated. The utility of doing this exercise is questionable. But I am impressed at the ease of doing the above. Total elapsed time was about 5 minutes. Bud P.S., I guess it does prove that ProDOS to MS-DOS is now trivial.
