a customer or employee of CMS - just an electronic acquaintence...

CMS is NOT more expensive - in fact, their premier product is a 60 MEG
drive for the Mac and Apple II which is priced at about 900-1000 and
is rather quick ; I seem to remember the literature specifying less than
35 ms average access times;.  Just call them and see.
