Klassen) Distribution: world Organization: U. of Waterloo, Ontario Lines: 27 I have written a simple musical keyboard for the Atari 8-bit computers. The only trouble is that the notes are not accurate (some of them seem a bit flat) and that I only have a true 3-octave range. I get a 4th octave through the use of distortion but it does not sound very good. I am aware that by combining two of the voices I can get 16-bit accuracy and greater range. I am capable of doing this, however, I do not know what numeric values are required to produce each specific note (eg. 'middle C'). If someone out there has a table with this info could you please send it to me either through e-mail or through the bit-net. Please don't just refer me to DeRe Atari as I do not have access to that publication. If I can get this information I will be able to greatly improve the quality of my musical program. When this is done I will be willing to either post the program to the bit-net or send it to people through e-mail. I sent a similar request a long time ago but lost my computer access (ie. the semester ended) before I was able to see if there was a reply. Thanks in advance for any help. Steven W.
