Regarding the shareware discussion. I'm planning to release the next major
version of the 8 bit emulator as shareware. I figure it's easy for most
people to access, and they don't have to wait eons for a certain unnamed
magazine to publish. However, the discussion didn't give shareware such a
good reputation. I'm just wondering if anyone reading this has ever released
anything as shareware, and what kind of response they had. There must be
_some_ good stories?!?!? I'm spending about a thousand hours on this new
version, and I want some kind of a payback.
So let's hear more pros and cons regarding shareware.
