I don't know about new releases for IMP, I use MEX -- but, I don't believe IMP is the source of your problem. If you don't have it, you need to get a copy of of CONFIG.COM and CONFIG.HLP. This allows you to change certain parameters of CP/M like screen and character color, port baud rate, keyboard feel, keyboard repeat, and even the volume of the keyboard clicks. I have it in my PROFILE.SUB file to set up the screen the way I like it.
